Hassan Bashir is a Senior Consultant focusing on Climate Insurance and Governance at the Agri-SME Innovative Financing and Development program that sits within the Agriculture Finance and Rural Development Department of AfDB. Bashir is one of the key resources in the design and development of The Africa Climate Risk Insurance Facility for Adaption (ACRIFA), a facility aiming to mobilize $1 billion of concessional, high-risk capital, and grants to de-risk private sector investments geared toward the development and uptake of climate insurance solutions for the Agri-Food Sector in Africa.
