He is a partner in the PwC Forensics team with over 17 years’ experience in providing forensic investigations, compliance reviews, AML/CFT/CPF advisory and fraud prevention services to private and public sector clients in Eastern Africa.

He leads the PwC Forensics practice in East Africa and has played key roles in fraud and corruption risk management assignments and forensic investigations in the public and financial sector. He has led some of the most prominent forensic investigations in Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Tanzania, Mauritius, Malawi and Ethiopia. John has also authored a number of thought leadership articles on fraud risk management and public sector corruption in East Africa.

John is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK, and is currently pursuing a masters in Economic Crime from Portsmouth University.
