Hon. Prof Kiringai Kamau

Kiringai Kamau, a leading agricultural economist, excels in agroecology, agribusiness, and sustainable development. On sabbatical from the University of Nairobi, he serves as the Global Lead of GODAN Secretariat, advancing open data for agriculture and programs like YouLEAD to empower youth in agri- food systems. He is also the County Executive Committee Member for Devolution in Murang’a County, Kenya, driving partnerships and local development. A professor of agripreneurship, Kiringai champions data-driven curricula and capacity building for emerging agri-leaders, fostering global education collaborations and sustainable agricultural practices.
