Freddy Bob-Jones is Managing Director at Aceli Africa, a market catalyst that unlocks private capital to boost productivity and growth in the agriculture sector. Aceli operates in five countries across East and Southern Africa Region and in partnership with 45 lending institutions including commercial banks, nonbanking institutions and impact investors. Before joining Aceli, Freddy held leadership positions at SEMA Reproductive Health and IPPF, overseeing large-scale, donor-funded programs focused on advancing health outcomes across several African and Asian nations. Mr. Jones had over a decade of management consulting experience from PwC and Deloitte, advising governments and donors on policy reform initiatives throughout Africa and Asia. Earlier in his career, Freddy spent eight years as a senior economic advisor within the UK government with the FCDO and HM Treasury. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK) and a Master’s in Development Economics from the University of Manchester (UK).
