He holds a Master of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from Makerere University, Uganda, a BSc in Economics from the same university and a Diploma in Fisheries Policy, Planning and Management from United Nations University, Iceland. He has over 15 years of expertise in agriculture and natural resource policy. As a Food Systems Champion and a 2017 Aspen New Voices Fellow, Boaz has significantly influenced agricultural transformation across Africa, particularly through his work with the African Union Commission on CAADP. He is known for his strategic leadership, driving impactful policy reforms, and promoting sustainable development and food security on the continent.
