Angeline Mwangi

Angeline Mwangi is a Sustainability expert with over 15years of practice. She has an MA in Environmental Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi, several certifications including Sustainable Banking and Green Bonds from Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education, Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) – Global Association of Risk Professionals, Environmental and Social Risk Analysis (ESRA) from UNEP-FI and a Certified Expert in ESG and Impact Investing from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. She is a member of the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) Sustainable Finance Initiative (SFI) working group for 3years where she has contributed significantly in the area of Sustainable Finance.
She has worked with several Environmental Consulting Firms in different roles. For the last 7 years she has been working as a Sustainable Finance expert for Banks in Kenya as they integrate ESG into their operations. She is currently incharge of ESG and Climate matters at Family Bank Ltd and is part of the team implementing IFRS S1 and S2 at the Bank.
